Compared to the hideous abuse re: names some parents load their kids up with, Apple is fairly sane. I'd never name a kid Apple, though. That's Just Wrong. Granny Smith never minded. She was sort of crabby about it at first, but she mellowed. Eh, two or three glasses of Wine, and Granny's a Sap. How do you know? Have you been watching her like a northern spy?

A woman's fertile period during her menstrual cycle, on average, lasts about nine days: seven days before ovulation (the release of the egg), the day of ovulation, and the day after ovulation. So a woman is fertile before the egg pops out?  Neat trick.

So a woman is fertile before the egg pops out?  Neat trick. Nope, the sperm survive for at least a few days. She's still not fertile until there's an egg that can be fertilized.   And I thought the little swimmers were only good for about 48 hours.
